Overview

Emirates Park Zoo is a family-oriented animal park in Al Bahyah, outside central Abu Dhabi. This ticket covers one day of admission to the zoo and its animal-viewing areas, where visitors can see species ranging from giraffes and elephants to birds, primates and reptiles. It is a flexible, self-guided outing rather than a timed group tour.

Check the ticket category carefully. Ordinary zoo admission is not the same as the Explorer option: unlimited access to scheduled animal presentations is listed only when the Explorer Ticket is selected. The park also offers separately arranged feeding sessions, animal encounters and other activities. Entry to an interactive zone does not mean every interaction inside it is free. Neither an overnight stay at the adjoining resort nor meals are listed as part of this admission. The supplier for this booking is Rayna Tourism LLC, and the ticket cannot be refunded or rescheduled.

What's included

* 1-Day Access to Emirates Park Zoo
* Access to all zoo area and interactive zones
* Unlimited entry to scheduled animal presentation shows (If Explorer Ticket selected)
About the attraction
Emirates Park Zoo developed from a small feeding farm established in 2008 into a public zoological attraction by 2012, according to Abu Dhabi's tourism authority. Unlike a single large indoor aquarium, the site is organised into animal areas that encourage visitors to move between very different groups of species. Its collection includes big cats, giraffes, elephants, monkeys, reptiles and birds, with designated viewing and learning spaces.

Part of the zoo's appeal is the contrast between simply observing animals and its optional keeper-led presentations and supervised feeding programmes. These are not interchangeable: watching an animal in its enclosure is part of the ordinary visit, while a scheduled encounter may involve a different ticket, payment or capacity limit. The zoo also operates an adjoining resort, but that is separate accommodation rather than part of the day-entry experience.
Who is it for
A practical choice for families with children, wildlife enthusiasts and visitors looking for a few hours outdoors near Abu Dhabi. The mix of animal habitats works well for groups with different interests, and the self-guided layout lets you adjust the pace. Visitors whose main goal is to attend several scheduled presentations should compare the Explorer Ticket before checkout. This entry-only option is less suitable if you expect a private animal-feeding session, a guaranteed show, pony rides, climbing attractions or a resort stay to be included.
What to expect
1. Travel to Emirates Park Zoo on 12th Street in Al Bahyah, Abu Dhabi. At the entrance, show the smartphone voucher and a valid passport or photo ID as requested by the ticket provider.

2. Follow the zoo's map through its animal areas. Start with the species most important to your group, whether large mammals, primates, birds or reptiles. Allow time to observe rather than assuming animals will always be active or visible in exactly the same place.

3. Check the daily animal-presentation and activity timetable at the venue. If you bought the Explorer option, follow the instructions for eligible scheduled shows. Presentations can be adjusted for animal welfare, weather and operational reasons.

4. Decide separately whether to purchase animal feeding, riding or adventure activities. These may have extra fees, age, height or supervision limits; a standard zoo ticket does not guarantee access to them.

5. Take breaks as needed and finish the areas you have not explored. On-site dining and the adjacent resort are separate from the admission entitlement, so confirm any extra purchases before ordering.
Before you go
The zoo is at 12th Street, Al Bahyah, Abu Dhabi, away from the central Corniche and Yas Island attractions. Arrange your own transport: no hotel pickup is included in this ticket. Check the venue's current directions and parking arrangements before travelling. Published opening hours generally start at 9 am, with closing at 8 pm or 9 pm depending on the day; the operator's webpages do not always display identical schedules, so confirm the date-specific hours directly before visiting.

Carry the smartphone voucher and a valid passport or ID for entry. The venue's regular admission rules allow children under three to enter free with an accompanying ticketed adult, although the child category and proof-of-age requirements for this specific booking should be checked at checkout. Adult supervision remains important in animal and activity areas.

Dress for an outdoor walk and bring sun protection and water. Follow staff instructions at each enclosure, do not offer animals unapproved food and do not assume every feeding or show is included. The supplier marks the zoo as wheelchair accessible, but individual adventure attractions and close-up animal sessions may have separate mobility, age or height restrictions. This particular ticket is non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled; confirm your date and any Explorer upgrade before paying.
