A single guided flyboarding session, not a jet-ski sightseeing tour or a guarantee of aerial tricks.

Overview

Flyboarding lets you rise above the sea on a board propelled by water pressure from a jet ski. In this 30-minute experience with Nemo WaterSports, you start from Umm Suqeim Fishing Harbour near Burj Al Arab, learn how to balance from an instructor and try to lift yourself out of the water. The ticket includes the session, safety equipment, drinking water and souvenir photos and videos taken by the instructor.

The focus is learning a new skill rather than travelling along Dubai's coastline. Your instructor manages the jet-ski power as you work on your stance and balance; it is not a self-drive jet-ski rental, a parasailing flight or a guaranteed acrobatics show. Beginners are welcome, but the height you reach and any turns or dives depend on ability and conditions. There is no hotel transfer with this ticket. Arrive at the marina 20 minutes ahead of your booked session for registration and safety instructions.

About the attraction
Nemo operates from Umm Suqeim Fishing Harbour, a working marina on Jumeirah Road close to Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Burj Al Arab. Its flyboarding area is a short walk from the base on the nearby beach rather than a distant sightseeing route. This location makes it possible for companions to watch from shore while the participant learns over the water.

A flyboard is connected by a hose to the jet ski's water propulsion system. The instructor controls the thrust while the rider learns to direct the board by shifting balance. That division of roles is useful for first-time participants: they do not need to drive a personal watercraft. The operator says beginners often spend several minutes learning to stand steadily before trying to rise higher, so practising basic balance is a normal part of the session.
Who is it for
An option for active travellers who want a short, instructor-led watersport and are happy to get wet, including first-time flyboard users. It suits visitors interested in the physical challenge more than a boat excursion with multiple sightseeing stops. It is not a good choice for someone expecting a guaranteed high-altitude flight, a dry experience or a ride they can share on one board. The activity is not marked wheelchair accessible. Pregnant guests and people with significant back, heart, respiratory or balance-related concerns should check the operator's restrictions and seek medical advice when relevant before booking.
What to expect
1. Travel independently to Nemo WaterSports at Umm Suqeim 2 Fishing Harbour, on Jumeirah Road near Burj Al Arab. Find the watersports base inside the marina and check in at least 20 minutes before your selected time. Show the mobile voucher and your valid original photo ID or passport.

2. Meet the instructor for a safety briefing and receive the protective gear provided for the session. Ask how the flyboard boots fit, what signals to follow and how to stop safely. The operator may have you complete a participation or liability form before entering the water.

3. Walk with the instructor to the nearby beach and enter the designated training area. The flyboard is connected by a hose to a jet ski, whose power the instructor controls. Start with balance and body position rather than immediately attempting spins or high jumps.

4. Use the remaining session time to practise rising above the surface, stabilising your posture and making controlled movements as your confidence grows. Falls into the water are part of learning; listen to instructions and do not attempt advanced tricks without approval.

5. Return to the base after your session. The supplier lists souvenir photos and videos taken by the instructor as included. Ask how and when to receive the files before leaving, since the ticket does not guarantee a particular delivery format or an exact number of images.
Before you go
Meeting point: Nemo WaterSports Dubai, Umm Suqeim Fishing Harbour, Umm Suqeim 2, Jumeirah Road, Dubai, near Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Burj Al Arab. Search for the operator's marina base rather than for a public entrance to Burj Al Arab. The operator publishes parking near its base, but this booking does not include transport from your accommodation. Allow extra time to reach the marina because the exact ticket requires check-in strictly 20 minutes before the session; late arrivals are accepted only at the operator's discretion.

Bring your smartphone voucher and a valid original passport or Emirates ID or other photo identification accepted by the operator. Pack swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and a change of clothes. The supplier includes safety equipment and drinking water. Nemo has a base with changing facilities, but this particular ticket does not promise a personal locker, towel rental, transport or food. Do not confuse amenities or discounts advertised on other Nemo packages with what this voucher buys.

Confirm participation requirements before making a booking for a minor or anyone close to a weight limit. Nemo's general flyboarding guide gives a minimum age of 13 and an approximate recommended weight range of 40–120 kg, depending on the equipment. Other sellers of Nemo flyboard sessions publish different limits, including a lower maximum weight, so the exact approved range for your date and selected equipment must come from Nemo or the seller. Participation can also be restricted for pregnancy, back or spinal problems, cardiovascular conditions and other risks. Follow the on-site instructor's assessment; published general limits are not a guarantee of admission.

Flyboarding takes place outdoors over open water. Wind, sea state or other safety conditions can affect the start time or whether an activity runs at all. The session is advertised as 30 minutes, but this does not promise 30 minutes hovering above the sea: beginners typically spend part of that time learning and may remain near the surface. The instructor takes included photos and videos, but scenic backgrounds and particular manoeuvres depend on conditions. Ask about any weather-related operator cancellation before travelling.

This ticket's provider is Nemo Water Sports LLC. The selected third-party ticket allows free cancellation and rescheduling until 24 hours before the visit, according to its published terms; do not substitute the different policies sold by other platforms. Check the final contracting seller and payment details at checkout. Elite Star Tours is the information site, not the watersports operator.
Reschedule and cancellation policy
Cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the activity.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need experience driving a jet ski to use the flyboard?
No. This experience is beginner-oriented, and the instructor controls the jet ski supplying water pressure to the board. Your job is to follow instructions and work on your balance. It is not a jet-ski driving lesson or a coastal jet-ski tour.
Can my friends watch while I try flyboarding?
The operator says its flyboarding area is on a beach a short walk from the marina, where companions can watch from shore. Spectators do not take part in the paid session, and the operator or beach staff may set access and safety boundaries on the day.
